Dorset Council has opened the final round of its UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF) grants, following the success of the first two rounds. Businesses can now apply for grants ranging from £2,000 to £20,000, while eligible start-ups can apply for smaller grants between £1,000 and £5,000...
In previous rounds, over £670,000 was awarded across 65 business support grants. Funded projects included the purchase of specialised equipment such as a chiropractic bench, 3D printers, and a cheese vat. Other grants supported business expansions like a larger sawmill and new welding workshop, as well as initiatives to improve efficiency through automation, website development, and marketing.
Round 3 Details:
• Opening Date: 1st October 2024
• Closing Date: 17th November 2024
Grant Amounts:
• Businesses: £2,000 - £20,000
• Start-ups: £1,000 - £5,000
